Trademark Application
What is Trademark?
A logo can be composed of text (including personal name), signs, design styles, letters, words, numbers, graphic elements, colors, sounds, smells, shape of goods or their packaging.A mark that can be expressed by writing or drawing can be registered as a trademark.

Points to Note for Trademark Application

必須查看商標是否以被註冊，一旦遞交T2表格便不能作出任何更改 (只可以更改表格上輕微的文書錯誤)。

申請者可以選擇從網上自行查閱商標是否已被申請，或遞交T1表格請註冊處查冊。

每10年續1次，費用為$2,670。

在收到申請表後，註冊處會即時即出收款確認至申請表上的地址。（並不代表商標註冊已受理）。

如用郵遞方式需注意表格上放置商標的框架內沒有任何範圍被塗污，因知識產權處會直接掃描表格，如被塗污，該範圍有可能被視為商標之一。

倘若在商標註冊處在執行T1表格的時候，有其他公司申請了同一個商標並直接遞交T2表格時，該公司便會成功申請到商標。

每成功申請到1個商標，知識產權處會寄出一張證書（只會出1次），如日後商標持有公司需要更改，該證書並不會重新寄出，只會收到另一封確認書（並不等如證書），表明該商標的持有人以更改。
