Application Period
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) accepts application from 05/05/2020 9 A.M. to 05/06/2020 5 P.M.
Application Method and Eligibility
  1. Applicants are required to hold a valid food business license (Full or Provisional license in General Restaurants, Marine Restaurants, Light Refreshment Restaurants and Factory Canteens) issued by FEHD by 29/02/2020. 
  2. No redundancy of staffs and not less than 80% of the subsidies released is used to pay salaries of staffs working at the licensed premises.
  3. Applicants are required to submit on or before the 22nd day of the month that follows each month in the period from May to October 2020 a certificate issued by a CPA certifying the total staff salaries paid and total number of salaried staff working at the licensed premises for each of the month in the period from May 2020 to October 2020.
  4. A notification duly signed by the applicant shall be submitted to the FEHD in August 2020 confirming that the CPA had issued and the said certificates for the month of May, June, July 2020 and there was no redundancy of staff and not less than 80% of the subsidies released is used to pay the salaries of staff working at the premises in those months.
Accountant's Scope of Services
  1. Review the licensed premises' total staff salaries and total number of staff working at the licensed premises (salaries paid or not paid) and issue a Certificate.
  2. Review and confirm that no redundancy of staffs during the period from May to October 2020 and not less than 80% of the subsidies released is used to pay the salaries of staffs working at the premises in those months.
  3. Ensure the data meets the requirement, provide the FEHD with a maximum of 6 Accountant Certificates from the period between May to October 2020 on a regular basis.
Applicant's Responsibility (During the Application)
  1. Provision of a valid license issued by the FEHD specifying the size of the premises
  2. Provide a list of employees indicating the employee's name, identity card number, address, telephone number and date of employment.
  3. Provide a copy of employees' identity card and confirm with the signature by both the employee and employer.
  4. Provide all original copies of employees' salary record in March with employees' signature for validation.
Applicant's Responsibility to Accountant (After Application)
  1. From June to November 2020 (Consecutively for 6 months), provide all employees' previous salary record with signature before the 14th of each month (To reserve enough time of work for service provider).
  2. Salary Record from May to October 2020 must be sent to 6638 3838 via Whats App.  
  3. If there are any questions regarding to the submission of salary records, it must be asked and handled immediately.
Accountant and Service Providers' Responsibility to Applicants
Upon the completion of all responsibilities, Service Provider shall instantly (Latest within a week time) issue the Certificate to the Applicant.
